Gary has been in the financial services industry for over 18 years. Gary is an Accredited Investment Fiduciary (AIF®), Certified Plan Fiduciary Advisor (CPFA), and Certified in Long Term Care.
Gary has a Bachelor’s degree from the University of Pittsburgh in Psychology and a Bachelor’s degree from Towson University in Business Management with a minor in Financial Planning. Gary joined Cambridge Investment Research in 2013 and recently partnered with Williamson Financial Management Group to expand his team and his reach of services for business clients.
Gary works with businesses to reduce the complex challenges of business planning and retirement plans. Gary’s process for Businesses includes fiduciary oversight, plan design, and employee advice.Gary’s process for Individuals helps them navigate the challenges of financial planning, the investment markets, and lifetime income planning.
Gary’s financial services career began in 2002, at an alternative investment group, as the Asst. Fund Administrator, managing public and private funds. He briefly worked at Pen Fed Credit Union, through CUSO Financial Services, where he assisted a financial advisor to assist and educate military and former military members with their financial security. In 2008, he became FINRA registered and continued his career by partnering with a veteran financial advisor of a large insurance organization. Gary focused on financial planning, investments, and retirement plans for companies. The retirement plans were with for-profit and non-profit companies.
Gary is a board member of an independent school in Darnestown, MD and a board member of a MD nonprofit that financially supports fitness opportunities for individuals with disabilities. Gary continues to teach financial literacy to youth and young adults with special needs.
Gary and his wife, Amy, live with their two children in Concord, NC. They are actively involved in Cabarrus County, NC community and the local Jewish community.
